He was predeceased by: his son Eddie Allen; his parents, Arthur Allen and Mildred Allen; his sister Lucy Geoghegan; and his brother-in-law Malcolm Geoghegan.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Allen of Bardstown; his son John Allen (Cindy); his grandchildren, Shelby Allen (Brendon) of Louisville, Evan Cass Allen of Louisville and Jack Szabo of Louisville; and his sister Anita Allen. He is also survived by several brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
