He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Greene and Dolly Bradley Young Greene; his wife Irma Jean Richardson Greene; and his siblings, Mary Ann Greene Votaw, Janelle Greene Selby and Troy Gene Greene.
He is survived by: his children, Shonnie Greene of Springfield, Sharon Beth Kirtley (Jason) of Austin, Texas and James Robert Greene Jr. (Leslie) of Louisville; his stepdaughter Stacey Conder (Troy) of Bardstown; his grandchildren, Amanda, Jared Greene, Houston Yates, Erin, Eli Hite and Parker Greene; and his stepgrandsons, Josh Conder (Millicent) and Chance Conder (Shelby).
