He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon "Red" Ballard and Louise Greenwell Ballard; and his siblings, Bert Ballard, Jerry Ballard, John Elmer "Hamburger" Ballard and Edna Mae Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Wathen Ballard; his children, Kathy Ballard O'Daniel of Bardstown and Stephen Ballard (Cathy) of Bardstown; his grandchildren, Lindsay Coulter, Allie Coulter, Katie Ballard, Makayla Ballard, Austin Ballard, Kendall Ballard and Joshua Ballard; his brother Joseph Leon Ballard (Karlton) of Palm Harbor, FL; and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Ballard and Betty Boone Ballard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may go to Masses or Bethlehem High School.
