He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Roberto Mattingly and Mary Lavon Blair-Mattingly. He is survived by: his daughter Marly; his brother Joseph Daniel Mattingly; his children, Ricky Mattingly (Cheryl), William Dirr, Vicky Neurath (Wesley) and Marlana Mattingly (Brice); and his siblings, Ronnie Blair, Leon Mattingly (Carol Mae), Jackie Mattingly (Jeanie), George Dewayne Mattingly (Sandy) and Brenda Herbst.
