Hillman Jerome Blanford Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2025, at the age of 75, Hillman Jerome Blanford of Bardstown, Kentucky, born in Lebanon, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hillman "Fuzzy" and Mary Mudd Blanford; and his sister Frances Kateri "Teri" Edelen. He is survived by: his children, Mary Kaye Blanford, Amanda Lynn Blanford, Danielle Avery, Jarrod Blanford and Wesley Blanford; his grandchildren, Hayden, Zoe, Emma, Ryley, Ellie, Blake, Jacob, Grayson, Lincoln, Connor and Dawson; his great grandchild Lawsyn; the mother of his children Paula Blanford; and his siblings, Mary Dianne Bleemel (Mike) and Pat Blanford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Barlow Funeral Home (2675 E John Rowan Blvd, Bardstown, KY 40004). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto Cathedral (310 W Stephen Foster Ave, Bardstown, KY 40004).
