George Marie Houck Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Marie Houck of Bardstown, Kentucky, who passed away on February 26, 2025 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah "Tubby" Hayden and Margaret Geoghegan Hayden; her husband Charlie Houck; her daughter Debbie Houck; and her sister Julia Ann Whitaker.
She is survived by: her children, Freda Houck of Louisville, Jayne Bartley (Todd) of Springfield and Wayne Houck of New Jersey; and her siblings, Neasy Miller of California, Estelle "Tootsie" Hayden of Bardstown, James "Jimmy" Hayden (Jenny) of Bardstown and Henry Hayden (Jean) of Bardstown. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home and Cremation Services (1475 New Shepherdsville Rd, Bardstown, KY 40004). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (812 N 3rd St, Bardstown, KY 40004).
