She was predeceased by: her husband James Edward Ritchie; her children, Missy Ritchie and James William Ritchie; her parents, Ezra Burkhead and Ruthie Burkhead; and her great grandchild Christina Fulkerson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Thacker (Harold) of Chaplin and Beverly Bartley (Joe) of Loretto; and her sister Gracie Byrd Marks. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
