He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland "June Bug" Jr. Dones and Elma Dean Vittitow Dones; and his sister Carolyn Ann "Sissy" Perkins. He is survived by: his wife Mary Gayle Riley Dones; his children, Cynthia Hawkins of Elizabethtown, Vickie Bryan (Kevin) of New Haven, Wanda Tingle (Nathan) of Bardstown, Tammi C. Hill (Chris) of Bardstown and Christopher M. Carney of Bardstown; his siblings, Diane Gardner (Norman) of Boston, Tammy Dones of Boston, Angie Williams (Mike) of Cox's Creek, Nickie Dones (Shirley) of Boston, Tony Dones (Jenny) of Boston, Robbie Dones (Joan) of Boston, Jackie Dones (Nora) of Boston, Terry Lee Dones of Boston, Gregory Dones (Tonya) of Boston, Wesley Dones of Boston and Jerome Dones (Debbie) of New Haven; and his grandchildren, Erika Villar, Austin Hawkins, DaKota Hawkins, Derek Koch, Samantha Call, Garrett Koch, Rebecca Tingle, Tyler Tingle, Hope Tingle, Brooke Tanksley, Courtney Hamilton, Faith Whitney, Tre Whitney, Monika Grace Whitney, Aubree Kate Whitney, Colton Michael Carney and Kennedy Lynn Carney. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
