He is survived by: his children, Jeannie Wigginton, Joseph Anthony Smith, Carol Walker (Mark) and Mary J. Gibbs; his siblings, Theresa, Joan, Alice, Clara, Barbara and Iky; and his close friend Bernice Totten. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
