She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph David Spalding; her grandson Daniel Ewing Martin; her parents, Patrick Mattingly and Gertrude Mattingly; and her siblings, Stella Wimsett, Dorothy Nalley, Celeste Gertrude Mattingly and Paul Mattingly.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Porter (Tod) of Lexington, KY, Timothy Mitchell Spalding (Mary Jane) of Bardstown and Joseph Larry Spalding of Bardstown; her grandson Jason Spalding (Kalisa) of Bardstown; and her great grandchildren, Carter, Cash and Claire Spalding. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
