She was predeceased by: her father George Edward; her husband James Anthony "Jim" Mayer; and her brothers, Tom Filiatreau, George Filiatreau and Deacon Sam Filiatreau.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Mayer (Victoria), Anthony Mayer (Jana), Deborah Just (Glenn), Suzanne Gilbert (Harold), Amy Andujar and Heather Chancey (Rodney); and her siblings, Charlie Filiatreau (Paula), Nazaire Filiatreau (Jeannie), Jack Filiatreau (Debra), Carolyn Crepps, Joyce Edelen (Joe), Sue Smith (Bobby), Alice Pigram (Jim), Anne Riley (Sam) and Jeanette Stephens (David). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
