She was predeceased by: her husband Walter W. Burgin; her son Walter W. Burgin Jr.; her parents, John Ranschaert and Eleanor Ranschaert; and her siblings, Charles Edward Ranscheart, John "Billy" William Ranschaert, Linda Kay Halberg, Wanda Lee Lawrence and James Ranschaert.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah K. Simmons of Bardstown; her grandsons, Walter W. Burgin III (Chris), Curtis Burgin, Johnathan Burgin, Nathan Simmons (Jessica) and Matthew Simmons (Samantha); and her sister Sue Ann Vessels (Dana). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Barlow Funeral Home (2675 E John Rowan Blvd, Bardstown, KY 40004). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
