He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Gilbert Spalding; and his sisters, Rita Price, Debbie Curtsinger and Carla Spalding. He is survived by: his son Daniel Spalding (Elizabeth Neis) of Bardstown. He is also survived by 7 nephews and 1 niece.
