With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cobert Gabehart Cassity of Bardstown, Kentucky, born in Lebanon, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 1, 2024 at the age of 61. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cobert Gabehart and Mildred Josephine "Jo" Gabehart; his nephew Cody Cornish; and his grandparents, Annabel McFarlane, Dave Barlow, Lizzie Smallwood and George Gabehart.
He is survived by: his husband James Cassity; his sons, Christopher (Ashley) and Logan Gabehart (Amanda); his sisters, Barbara Cornish (David) and Debbie Meadows (Stephen); his grandchildren, Aiden and Averie Gabehart; and his nieces and nephews, Shawn Cornish, Sammy Meadows, Blake, Payton, Maycee, Jace Cassity, Crystal and Keyonna Crowe.
