He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles John Sr. and Catherine "Kitty" Kleier Thacker. He is survived by: his wife Nel Seaton Thacker; his children, Cathie Wocks (Rob) of Cincinnati, Pamela Whelan (Steve) of Louisville, Mike Thacker (Kim) of Louisville, Ginnel Phillips (Tommy) of Cox's Creek and Gregory Long (Heather) of Burlington; his sister Charlene Currie (Raymond) of Winnipeg; his brother-in-law Tom Walton (Paula) of Bardstown; and his pet Sadie Belle. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
