He is survived by: his children, Tony Stone (LeeAnn Chesser) and Mary Jo Mattingly (Joey) of Bardstown; his siblings, Rita Stone (Valerie) of Pittsburgh, Russell "Sonny" Stone (Yvonne) of Bardstown, Benny Stone (Paula) of Bardstown and Davis Stone (Liz) of Shepherdsville; his grandchildren, Debronze Cambron, John Cooper, Jalynn Cooper, Malik Stone, Maya McLendon, Cash Mattingly and Reed Mattingly; and his close friends, Mary Johnson, Alice and Dick Heaton. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
