He was predeceased by: his father Billy Gene; and his siblings, Tommy Maron, Donnie, Jerry, Keith Ezell and Mary Ezell.

He is survived by: his children, Kory Sawyer of Graham, LeeAnn Brooks of Shepherdsville and Ashley Porter (William). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
