She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Gates and Eunice Gates; her husband Donald Anthony Miranda; and her siblings, Madge Caster and James Gates.

She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Elkins (Richard), Tony Miranda, Donna Amos, Bonnie Riley and James Miranda; and her grandchildren, Michael, David, Jeremy, Jessica, Tina, Angela, Jimmy Jr., Hank, Tracey, Keli, Tommy Sean, Leah, Tiffany and Kasey. She is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family.
