She was predeceased by: her father Everett "PeeWee" Lewis; and her siblings, Emma Jean Summit, Kathleen Clark, William Lewis, Andrew Lewis and Jake Lewis.
She is survived by: her husband Pete Gilpin; her sons, Sam Gilpin Jr. (Tonya) of Vine Grove, John Gilpin (Jennifer) of Elizabethtown and Doug Gilpin of Bardstown; and her siblings, Dottie Hood (Sam Young) of Bardstown, Anna Elizabeth Hayden of Bardstown, Johnny Lewis (Georgena) of Bardstown and Bobby Lewis of Fairfield. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
