It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bert Spalding of Bardstown, Kentucky, who passed away on November 23, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benedict Spalding and Matilda Spalding; and his sisters, Rita Riley, Eunice Spalding and Janice Spalding.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Thompson Spalding of Bardstown; his children, Amy Spalding Reavis of Nashville and Jody Spalding (Karen) of Bardstown; his grandchildren, John Reavis, Benjamin Reavis, Megan Spalding, Ginny Spalding, Sara Spalding, Ryan Spalding and Jackson Spalding; and his siblings, Danny Spalding, Jude Spalding, Randall Spalding, Gene Spalding, John Spalding and Julie Wagner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
