With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlen Chester Vanhoose of Bardstown, Kentucky, who passed away on August 26, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Vanhoose and Zeda Vanhoose; his siblings, Kermit Ray Vanhoose, Junior Vanhoose, Juanita Collins and Pat Reece; and his brother-in-law Dallas Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Mardy Jo Vanhoose; his son Joshua Tyler Vanhoose (Baylee Cissell); his sister-in-law Wilma Vanhoose; his niece Missy Simmons (Butch); his nephew Ray Vanhoose; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Emilee, Lindsey Simmons, Natalie, Autumn, Brian Wright and Zach Evans.
The family requests that memorial contributions in honor of Arlen be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
