We bid farewell to Zelma Woolum of Barbourville, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 15, 2024 at the age of 89. Zelma touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Evy Russ and Marie Massengill Russ; her husband Paul James "P. J." Woolum; and her siblings, Ruth Ann West, Matt Harrell Russ and Elmer Russ.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Kay Woolum Darling (Jerry) of Milford, OH and Debra Paula Graham of Toney, AL; her brothers, Don, Larry Wayne and Clell Russ; her grandchildren, Casey Byrd, Katie Graham, Rachel Darling and Amanda Caballero; her great grandchildren, Camilo, Timothy and Georgia; her close friend Tiffany Moore; and also Roger Folyer.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Knox Funeral Home (325 Knox St, Barbourville, KY 40906). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
