He was predeceased by: his parents, Beverly Arthur Butler and Rosella Butler (Marcum); his siblings, Ruby Beatrice Wilson (Tom Pete), Zeldia Mae Jones (Randall), Lois Jean Hembree, Charlotte Ann Butler, Randall Lee Butler and Jerry Wayne Butler; his brother-in-law Paul Hamby; and his granddaughter Alison Teri Leddington.
He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Magadlene Butler; his children, Norma Jean Leddington (Rodney) and William Arthur Butler; his grandchildren, Amber Dawn Leddington and Virgil Leddington; his siblings, Mildred Faye Hembree (Dewey), Linda Sue Hamby, Charles Arthur Butler (Ida) and Chester Ray Butler; his brother-in-law Bill Hembree; and also Mike Blake. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, friends.
Respecting the Executive Orders issued by Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear and following the directives mandated by the CDC regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic, all arrangements for Mr. Butler will be private.
