She is survived by: her children, Charlton Smith and Christine Smith of Barbourville; her granddaughters, Elizabeth Deanna Smith of Barbourville, Brandy Rachelle Smith of Barbourville and Kristin Dawn Smith of Lexington; her great grandchildren, Emmett Vaughn and Emyah Smith; and her brothers, Neil Shields Garrett Shields (Judy) of Barbourville, Joe Shields (Betty) of Barbourville and Richard Shields of Ashland. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
