With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vencil Phipps of Barbourville, Kentucky, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on June 20, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Phipps and Pauline Phipps; his grandparents, Emily and Walter Branstutter; his wife Billie Rae Pridemore Phipps; his sister Birtha Rae Colson; and his brother-in-law William Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Vencil "Dinky" Phipps, Lisa Phipps, Victoria Hacker (David), Michael Phipps (Vickie) and Mark Phipps; his grandchildren, Wendi Rae Mills (Nathan Mills), Alexander Vincent Phipps and Ethan Chandler Phipps; his siblings, Faye Smith (Jerry Smith), Laura Mae Smith, Rondle Phipps (Pat Phipps), Doyle Phipps and Darrell Phipps; his brother-in-law Dwight Pridemore (Margaret); his nieces and nephews, Rondle Scott Phipps (Tiffany), Tonya Lay, Paige Hobbs (Austin Hobbs), Todd Pridemore (Melissa), Brittany Mills (Travis) and Abagail Pridemore; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Keaton Millsaps, Jordan Phipps, Jayden Phipps, Pippa Phipps, Annie Hobbs, Jacob Luke Mills, Ethan Michael Mills and Aubrey Kate Mills.
