He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carnes and Minnie Warren Carnes; his wife Doris Jean Carnes; his daughter Shelia Kay Williamson; and his siblings, Hazel Mylak, Chester, Herald and Jim Carnes.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Carnes (Shelia) of Corbin and Katrina Carnes of Mills; his sisters, Betty Baker of Flat Lick and Irene Collins (Gary) of Guilford, IN; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Christopher, Daniel Carnes, Jeffery Carnes (Ashley) and Cameron Owens (Mercedes); and his great grandchild Benjamin.
