He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ernest and Mossie Mae Hubbard Eldridge; his children, Roger Fuson, Neva Butt and John Wayne Fuson; and his siblings, Rita Darlene North, Nancy Jackson, Judy K. Killion, Beulah Laws, Imogene Bays, Dorothy Fuson, James Gambrel, Donald Ray, William Ernest Jr., Chet, Arnold and Eddie Eldridge.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel Eldridge of Barbourville; his children, Loretta Eldridge (Harley) of Barbourville, Sylvia Howard (Rob) of Corbin, Getall Fuson (Dillon Fuson) and Dolly Cole (Jamie Partin) of Davis Bend; and his brother Tommy Gambrel (Hazel) of Scipio, IN. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
