In the sacred silence of farewell, Robert is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Robert's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Armour and Roberta Osborne Armour. He is survived by: his wife Casey Armour of Barbourville; his daughter Leigh DeWitt (Jay) of Munford, TN; his sister Lynn Skrivanek (Gary) of Plano, TX; and his granddaughters, Lilly and Lyla DeWitt.
His contributions to Union were recognized through awards including the Distinguished Teacher of the Year and the Student Government Teacher Award – testaments to his impact both in and outside the classroom.
