He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Jones and Flora Mae Jones (Newman); his father-in-law Bill Wagner; his brother Robert Jones; and his sister-in-law Dolly Rebecca Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Jones of Barbourville; his children, Richard Colton Thomas (Sandra) of Barbourville and Tiffany Jordan (Anthony) of Cannon; his grandchildren, Mahayla Jordan and Josiah Jordan; his mother-in-law Judy Gibson of Barbourville; his siblings, Ronnie Jones (Jennifer) of Bakersfield and Tammy Bowersock of Barbourville; and his sisters-in-law, Alisa Jones of Lily and Wilma Garrison (Billy) of Woolum.
