Opal Clark Tye Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Clark Tye of Barbourville, Kentucky, born in Cedartown, Georgia, who passed away on January 16, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Clark and Mamie Clinton Clark; her husband Herman Mitchell Tye; her son Donald Joshua Tye; and her grandson Kristofer Shad Quentmeyer.
She is survived by: her daughter Becky Quentmeyer (Steve Quentmeyer) of Lewes, DE; her daughter-in-law Evelyn Tye of Barbourville; her grandchildren, Patrick Quentmeyer of Leesburg, VA, Tyeler Quentmeyer of San Francisco, CA, Brent Tye of Lexington and Joslyn Flynn of Stanford; and her sister-in-law Gayle Tye of Barbourville. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
