She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Hammons and Francis Hammons (Disney); her former husband Dorosal Parsons; her husband James Farris; and her brother Doug Hammons.
She is survived by: her son Kevin Parsons (Kristen) of Barbourville; her grandchildren, Allison Peyton (Alex) and Tanner Parsons; and her great grandchild Samuel Byon Peyton. She is also survived by many other relatives, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to East Barbourville Baptist Church in her memory.
