She was predeceased by: her parents, Lela Gregory Simmons and Adam Simmons; her husband Robert "Bob" Boose; her daughter Margaret Chesney; her granddaughter Mary Pursiful Petrey; and her brothers, Chalmus Jones, Alex Jones, Alfonsa Simmons and Winston Simmons.
She is survived by: her siblings, Luverda, Ann Faneher, Bertha Frances, Lela Potter of Barbourville and Amos Gregory of Weirton, WV.; her great grandchild Micheala Pursiful of Lexington; and her close friends, Rick Broughton (Sandy) and Dennis Jackson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews and cousins.
