She is survived by: her husband Nelson Hale of Barbourville; her children, Sheila Miller (Huston) of Barbourville and Finley Hale of Barbourville; her brothers, Robert Smith of Utica, MI and Clandus Smith (Mary) of Paris, TN; and her grandchildren, Marendia, Serenia, Nikki, Sheletta, Misty and Shannon. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren.
