It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry Dye (Barbourville, Kentucky), who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse James "Shorty" Dye and Maude Scalf Dye; and his sister Linda Joyce Bunch. He is survived by: his wife Versie Rose Dye; his grandchildren, C. D. Sanders (Brandy), Matthew Jones (Katie), Josh Jones (Amanda), Rebecca St. John (Matthew), Michaela Patterson (Austin), Zachary Sanders (Jordan), Savanah Dye, Jacob Sanders (Danielle), Kitisha Lawson (David), Aaliyah Dye, Austin Dye, Zoe Dye, Bentley Dye and Carter Dye; his brother David Dye; his pet Blakey James "Little Man"; and also, Thomas, Fred Mitchell and Carl Sanders. He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of the Knox Funeral Home (325 Knox St, Barbourville, KY 40906).
