It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Bright of Barbourville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Bright and Tressie Grubb Bright; his wife Mildred Mills; his sister Lana Bright Gambrel; his parents-in-law, Edd and Lucy Mills; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Sue Bright, Sue Bright and Roger May.
He is survived by: his sons, Kenny Lee Bright of Barbourville, Randy Edward Bright (Janice) of Lexington and Douglas Wolfgang Bright (Eya) of Simi Valley, CA; his siblings, Helen Bright May of Keavy, Paula Bright Smith (Kent) of Bimble, Denver Bright of Road Fork, Charles Bright (Bernice) of Gray, Earl Bright of Bimble, Johnny Bright (Tammy) of Gray and Jerry Bright (Judy) of Bimble; his grandchildren, Caitlin Victoria Bright Honaker (Matthew) and Clint Edward Bright (Kristen); and his great grandchild Noah Matthew Honaker.
