He is survived by: his wife Teresa Gay Burke; his children, Jacob Phipps (Gina) of Barbourville, Kathy Phipps and Joey Bunch of Gray; his siblings, Truleen Morgan (Larry) of Lexington, Melinda Sutherland (Terry) of Harrodsburg, Codell Phipps (Pat) of Columbia, Bolin Phipps (Marsha) of Rome, GA, Bill Phipps (Lois) of Corbin and Ray Phipps (Connie) of Corbin; his grandchildren, Brianna Collins (Kyle), Dakota Phipps (Tiffany), Peyton Phipps, Megan Lawson (Cody), Gina Beth Bohnert (Clark) and Joey Bunch; and his great grandchildren, Isaiah Phipps, Mia Harris and Colton Harris.
