She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Grubb and Bessie Grubb (Mills); her husband R. P. Smith; her son David Carmack; her siblings, Bobby Bright and Mae Broughton; and her brother-in-law Joe Broughton.
She is survived by: her former husband Hobert Carmack; her grandson Allen Carmack (Misty); her great grandchildren, Nathan Carmack (Katelyn) of Barbourville, Logan Carmack and Katelin; her nephews, Darick Bright and Rick Broughton (Sheila); and also, Troy of Pineville and Joetta Jordan (Harold) of Barbourville. She is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.
