It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Branum of Barbourville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 27, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. D. McCoy and Eva McCoy (Powers); her husband Elam Branum; and her sons, E. J. Branum and Alfred Branum.
She is survived by: her children, Curtis Branum of Barbourville, Lueva Sears of Barbourville and Barbara Kreitzer of Ohio; and her grandchildren, Rev. Jeffrey Branum (Debbie) of Barbourville, Teresa Jackson (Terry) of Mt. Vernon, Buster Branum (Susie) of Barbourville, Renia Hale (Paul) of Barbourville, Tim Branum (Amy) of Knoxville, TN and Eddie Kreitzer (Sandy) of Ohio. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren along with many other relatives and friends.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 p. m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p. m. Please remember, during the ongoing pandemic, there will be capacity restrictions and social distancing guidelines that we will need to follow during. all our services.
