With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold Ledford Mays of Barbourville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 25, 2021 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida McVey Mays and Willie T. Mays; his wife Janice Peters Mays; his son James Lee "Jimbo" Mays; and his siblings, Gretchen Mays, Thelma Middleton, Dorothy Thomas, Charles Mays, Johnny Mays, Louis Mays and Willie Mays.

He is survived by: his children, Lisa Michelle May (Roger), Angela Micchelle Dunn (Brandon) and Harold Mays Jr.; his sisters, Betty Rice and Jewell Abrams; and also, Jimmy Mays and Denver Mays.
