He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allen and Mary Stambaugh Ramey; his son Ricky Allen Ramey; and his brothers, John Harrison and Warren Glenn Ramey.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Ramey of Davis Bend; his children, Frank Anthony Ramey of Barbourville, Sylvia J. Watts (David) of Shelbyville and Gregory Scott Ramey (Melody) of Barbourville; his siblings, Cathy Bishop (Terry) of Lexington, Lewis Ramey (Louise) of Ohio, Larry Ramey (Sue) of Florida, David Ramey (Phylis) of Edmonton and Robby Ramey (Nita) of London; and his grandchildren, Laurel Nutter (Brandan), Whitney Hall (Joe) and Corri Taylor (Eric). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; among other family and friends.
