It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ewing Cornett (Barbourville, Kentucky), born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on October 10, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Sharon Cornett; and his siblings, Chester Cornett, Mildred Cornett Parsons, Mamie Cornett Anderson, Maurice Cornett, Melvin Cornett, Alma Cornett Self and Grace Cornett Sturgill.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Cornett of Cannon; his daughters, Penny Staley (Greg) of Tipp City, OH and Patricia Bertram (Mike) of Troy, OH; his grandchildren, Lauren Brune (Nathan), Allison Staley, Erick Staley (Emily), Abigail Bertram and Travis Bertram; and his brother-in-law Morris Jackson. He is also survived by his seven siblings.
