He is survived by: his children, Evan Keith Smith (Gwendolyn) of Barbourville, Janet Wilder (James), Dickie and Wilma Smith Girdner (Ike) of Cincinnati; his granddaughter Angela Roden (Eric) of Southside; his great grandchildren, Evan Brand of Southside and McKinley Roden of Southside; his sister Helen Brooks Mills of Winchester; his sister-in-law Marcella Owens of Wapakoneta; his nieces and nephews, Paula Jordan (Larry) of Wapakoneta, Winifred Brooks of Winchester, Carl Runyon (Linda) of Artemus, Brenda Runyon Bryant (Larry) of Barbourville and James William Runyon (Linda) of Knoxville; and his friend Waylon Runyon of Barbourville. He is also survived by two daughters and one son.
