She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Smith Sr. and Martha Mae Hamilton Smith; her husband James; her son Danny Earl Powell; and her siblings, Sharon Susan Smith, Cris Smith Jr., Paul D. Smith and Harry Bryan Smith.
She is survived by: her brothers, Phillip D. Smith (Gladys) of Barbourville, Douglas C. Smith of Fort Meyers, FL and Kenneth M. Smith of Heidrick; her grandchildren, Emily Ann Powell of Cincinnati, OH, Jacob Daniel Powell of Loveland, OH and Jason Christopher Powell of Loveland, OH; and her great grandchild Oliver James Powell-Campbell of Cincinnati, OH.
