She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Carton Sr. and Jean Renfro Carton; her sister Tanya Spencer; and her grandson Decodas Wills. She is survived by: her children, Sonoma Carton of Barbourville, Nicole Carton, Lamar Thomas of Trotwood, OH and Germel Hughes of Dayton, OH; her brothers, Richard Carton Jr. (Robin) of Dayton, OH and Michael Carton (Renee) of Pineville; her brother-in-law Rev. Tim Spencer of Barbourville; and her close friends, Cira Amador, Debbie Renfro, Ponnee Vickers, Sharon White and Diane York. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; several special great-nieces and nephews.
