He was predeceased by: his children, Whitley Paige Medlin and Gary Wayne Medlin. He is survived by: his wife Carmen Branstutter Medlin of Barbourville; his parents, Daniel Medlin and Brenda Medlin of Corbin; his children, Brooklyn Young (Anthony) of Girdler, Samantha Nicole Corey (Michael) of Blackwater, Joshua Corey of Barbourville and Shane Partin (Lesa) of Barbourville; his siblings, Denise Carter of Gray, Cindy Simmons (Robert) of Corbin and Billy Medlin of Rockhold; and his grandchildren, Carson Young, Jaxon Medlin, Bentley Medlin and Maverick Brock.
