He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Coy Franklin Cross Sr. and Alice Cross (Peavley); his former wife Janet; his children, Coy Franklin Cross III, Elizabeth Ann (Johns) and Mellissa Rochelle (Harley); his wife Carol; his grandchildren, James Newburg (Amelia), Aidan Harley and Spencer Harley; his great grandchild Henry Newburg (Hank); and his grandson Matthew Newburg.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the African Library Project or Mountain Stream Meditation Center in Nevada City.
