It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cora Ann Gibson of Barbourville, Kentucky, who passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Martin and Alta Owens Martin; and her sister Lisa Smallwood. She is survived by: her children, Randall Scott Lake (Tracy) of Heidrick, Melissa Lake of Barbourville and Christopher Thomas Stanley of Ohio; her sisters, Sharon Hammons of Heidrick and Kelly Farris of Keavy; and her grandchildren, Brittany Burton, Jed Lake, Andrew Burton, Christian Stanley, Zachary Lake, Haleigh Lake, Nathaniel Stanley and Aubree Lake.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of the Knox Funeral Home (325 Knox St, Barbourville, KY 40906). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
