She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley Hammons and Mattie McDonald Hammons; her siblings, Norman Hammons, Lloyd Hammons, Roy Hammons, Lester Hammons, Lorene Hammons, Jeanetta Hammons Joyner, Zora Hammons Smith and Doris Hammons Meade; her brothers-in-law, Tom Joyner, George Smith and Gene Meade; her niece Velma Sue Clifton; and her nephew Carl Joyner.
She is survived by: her brother Marvin Ray Hammons (Mary); her sisters-in-law, Bernice Hammons of Bennett Branch and Wanda Hammons of Bennett Branch; and her nieces and nephews, Regina Gail Hammons, Jennifer Miller (Rodney), Sherry Vaughn (Ted), Norma Sams (Robert), Brenda Winston (Steve), Betty Jean Sparks (Rodney), Larry Meade (Pat), Mike Meade (Kelly), Marvin Hammons, Jr. (Regina), Randel Joyner (Caurice) and Rick Joyner (Vickie).
