He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Wilburn and Fannie Wilburn (Cobb); his son Jerry Ray Wilburn; his grandson Peyton Tye Ledington; his siblings, Debra Jean Wilburn, Lewis Wilburn, Clarence Lee Wilburn, Creed Wilburn, Charles and Earl Wilburn; his parents-in-law, Basil and Lucy Trent (Abner); his siblings-in-law, Helen Smith, Wittie Trent, Lena Trent, Jackie Bea Wilburn, Emmanel Trent, Vernon L. Trent and Walter Smith, Jr; and his close friend Ronnie "Whitey" Corey.
He is survived by: his wife Georgia Trent Wilburn of Barbourville; his children, Jeffery L. Wilburn (Melissa) of Bryants Store, Keith Ray Wilburn (Jill) of Barbourville, Helena Ledington (Alan) of Heidrick and Kim W. Corry (Ben) of London; his grandchildren, Michael Murphy, Kayla Smith (Larry), Jacob Wilburn, Zach Dixon, Emma Ledington, Adam Wilburn, Gunner Corry, Penny Corry, Bentley Goldsberry and Camille Corry; his great grandchildren, Caitlin, Alex, Shelbi, Sawyer and Saylor Smith; his siblings-in-law, Geraldine Trent of Salisbury, Norma Trent of Greenroad, G. C. Trent of Woollum, Ray Trent of Greenroad and Basil Trent, Jr. (Georgia) of Girdler; and also Helen Jennette Hood (Raymond) of Woollum.
