She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathias Carnes and Juanita Mills Carnes; her husband James Leath; her children, Gary Wayne Leath and Brenda Kempf; and her siblings, Eugene Carnes, Doris Brown and Judy Messer.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Shelby Katherine Kempf and Kaylan Clark (John); her son-in-law Byron Kempf of Bowling Green; and her siblings, Billy Ray Carnes (Mev) of Arjay, Lonnie Carnes (Margaret) of Greenefield, Glenn Carnes of Barbourville, Evelyn Mills of Barbourville and Betty Shelton (Jack) of London. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
